USOC (United States Olympic Committee) is a nongovernment, no profit organization governed by 16 member board of directors, professional staff and a CEO. It also has three constituent councils to give advice and opinion namely Athletes advisory council, National Governing bodies council, Multi supports organizations council.
“It oversees the participation of the Athletes in Olympic, Paralympics, Pan American, and Para ban games. It is one of the 204 National Olympic committees under the parent organization IOC. It is the one of the only four NOC’s committee in the world to support national Paralympics committee for the country. The USA does not have a separate sports ministry.”
