Suppose you are interested in the behaviors of college professors that have high ratings of student satisfaction. The research goal is to identify the teaching behaviors of these successful professors so that these behaviors can be built into the curricula of doctoral leadership programs. The sample for this study will consist of 10 randomly selected professors who received high end-of-course survey scores. You want to use a case study design that requires at least two sources of data. What data collection instruments will be the most appropriate to address this topic? Why?

This study intended to identify the teaching behaviors of the professors for the doctoral leadership programs. 10 professors have been randomly selected for the study as sample. For the data collection standardized questionnaire should be used, that will be most appropriate, open ended questionnaire will be more effective in this study. The study needs dept knowledge, so that subjective analysis is more appropriate for this study. The purpose of the qualitative study is to study or to describe a situation, phenomenon or problem. It can be done also by use of variables measured on nominal or ordinal scales and it's analysis is done to establish the variation in the situation, phenomenon or problem. This post may be improved by some detailed information that will help for the research designing and will also help to study effectively.
