Some recommendations that can be used in order to improve the design are as follows:

1. An experimental and control group should be established. That is, two groups of participants should be used, one receiving the discussion method and one not receiving the method.

2. The instructor teaching the content should be the same for the experimental and control group.

3. A fixed schedule with respect to the use of the discussion method should be used. For instance, the method maybe used twice a week.
