Question

Kenneth Wheeler was angry at certain police officers in Grand Junction, Colorado, because of a driving-under-the-influence arrest that he viewed as unjust. While in Italy, Wheeler posted a statement to his Facebook page urging his "religious followers" to "kill cops, drown them in the blood of their children, hunt them down and kill their entire bloodlines" and provided names. Later, Wheeler added a post to "commit a massacre in the Stepping Stones preschool and day care, just walk in and kill everybody." Could a reasonable person conclude that Wheeler's posts were true threats? How might law enforcement officers use Wheeler's posts? Explain. Explanation / Answer

Wheelers posts in facebook and his attitude towards police officer are not normal and sometimes against the laws and orders of that country. From the statements given here it could be assumed that he is not a person with normal mind , might there be some distractions or some kind of criminal activity he wants to commit. Law enforcement officers should take pre cautionary measures to make understand his motive or action plans if any , to take care of safety and security. It can,t be said with surety that Wheelers posts were true threats without intervening him face to face. It is very much possible that he is suffering from some knid of anxiety disorder due to which such thoughts are coming into his mind.
