Question
1- Choose an organization you are familiar with and provide responses to the following:
a) Identify and describe the organization.
b) Identify the types of outcomes you recommend be used to evaluate the program per the options in Table 6.1 in the text. Explain why you chose these outcomes for this situation.
Example:
QuadMed, LLC
An organization that I am familiar with is QuadMed. QuadMed was created 25 years ago by Quad/Graphics' founder, Harry Quadracci, when he realized there had to be a better way to provide healthcare for his employees and reduce healthcare costs.
Today, QuadMed operates employer funded onsite health and wellness centers for 90 clients in 21 states. Onsite health centers provide fast and easy access to convenient and affordable primary care for employees and their dependents.
In this situation, I would recommend the following outcomes be used to evaluate the program:
Outcome or Criterion
What is Measured
Examples
Measurement Methods
Question
Learning or Cognitive
Techniques, procedures, and processes the learners have acquired
Evaluation design
Potential legal issues
Test: Choose an appropriate evaluation design for a specific training situation
Test: legal issues that relate to training
What did they learn?
Behavior & Skill Based
Technical skills or behaviors acquired by learners
Training program development
Observe work samples: of developed training programs.
Do they use it?
I chose learning or cognitive outcomes because they are used to determine the degree to which trainees are familiar with the techniques, procedures, and processes emphasized in the training program. A pencil and paper test is typically used to assess this outcome. I also chose skill based outcomes because they assess the level of technical skills. The extent to which the trainees have learned skills can be evaluated by observing their performance in work samples.

I chose learning or cognitive outcomes because they are used to determine the degree to which trainees are familiar with the techniques, procedures, and processes emphasized in the training program. A pencil and paper test are typically used to assess this outcome.
I have chosen the Logical reasoning because it determines the degree of connection the trainee perform in the work samples which reflection the creativity as well as the new pattern generation for the analysis of various websites. I also chose skill-based outcomes because they assess the level of technical skills and the behavioral patterns. The extent to which the trainees have learned skills can be evaluated by observing their performance in performing the sample given or on the case studies.
