The followership is a kind of strategy to get a specific space in work environment. The leaders always need followers to comprise their role and privileges.
A positive and self-motivated follower is an asset to an organization so that leader needs the followers to increase the competition and productivity in the workplace. The relation between leader and follower combine with the moral support as well as competition. Effective followership is a difficult task because in which the follower need to justify their role and capability, followers are the leader of future so that they need to response like leaders sometimes while they step between leaders and employee so that they must have sills to create balance without affecting self-capabilities.
The feedback is the important part of evaluation and assessment so that a follower need time to time response by leaders as well as colleagues. Leaders get support from followers while they want to make good work environment while followers need moral and social support from leaders.
In my opinion, the role of a follower is important in the workplace if they are creative and committed towards work culture and the responsibility of leaders to promote followers.
