Question
In what way would you like to inspire hope in others? How is this desire to inspire hope in others an extension of your Christian worldview? What obstacles do you face right now that threaten to keep you from implementing your ideas into action once this course is completed? What do you need to do to ensure that those obstacles will not deter you from taking action? How will you remain committed to your resolve to inspire hope in others if your initial efforts aren’t as “successful” as you anticipate?
Explanation / Answer
One of the most difficult things that people are afraid of is the fear of failure which prevents them from taking new initiatives that would take them to new heights. This also leaves more people shattered when they face failures. I would like to motivate such people to look for the brighter side of things while at the same time expecting for the worse. Jesus was one of the best examples in the history who brought hope in place of despair. He believed in people and that’s why what we consider in terms of miracles were just those pep talks and hopes that Jesus gave to people which enabled them to walk, speak, see and come to life even.
I should believe in me and the person I’m motivating. It would also take more perseverance in order to motivate people to perform well. I should also come out of my comfort zone at times in order to spend more time with people around me, especially when they need me. I need to plan my activities in advance, so that I could spare enough time spend. I should motivate myself to be patient and tolerant towards people who I motivate. It’s always going to be tough and not everyone would succeed in their initial attempt. It might take time but with my perseverance and helping attitude I will be able to do things well. During the initial stage I’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn things better which is still good.
