Explanation / Answer
Non verbal communication means communication without use of words I.e. through body language , facial expression eye contact , gesture , posture etc.
From the video it was surprising to know that only 7% of total communication are verbal and 93% are non verbal.
People interpret messages in accordance with body language and reaction at the time of communicating. When verbal and non-verbal signals do not match, it creates distrust, misunderstandings and confusion.
Non verbal communication complements the verbal communication and if not more , it is equally important t as the verbal one .
How one hand shake tells a lot about his personality and confidence.
