The author has put forward some of the things that a strict Chinese mother does. He is not only referring to Chinese, but also the Asian mothers, who put on a strict face for. The children are not to enjoy leisure or participate in extra curricular activities of their choice. Though, the west calls this form of parenting as stereotypical, the east and south east Asia. According to the western parents, the idea that learning is a form of fun should be emphasised. On the contrary the Chinese mothers do not emphasise this idea.l

The author has provided ample evidence in the form of statistics, pictures as well as dialogues from people. Also, the author has given their credentials at the end of the article, which authenticates that the information provided is genuine. Also, by appealing to emotion the author has tried to persuade.
