For example: my research idea is about whether or not age correlates to reaction time. I am only going to use task 1. My hypothesis is that as people get older, their reaction time increases, they get slower. I will set up the data in two columns and run a pearson correlation of time by age using SPSS. This is a very simple example- I expect your idea to be a little more interesting!

I think you should also include task complexity and variety in this . So the research would be with people of various ages and it would include their response time on various task with increasing or decreasing complexity and then a correlation of the same can be made. The components would be three the range of complexity, the reaction tume and the age. The hypothesis would be reaction time of a complex task woyld decrease with age. This will involve the anture of task in the study as well which would make it a bit more complicated. Any of the correlation coefficient finding strategy can be used like pearson r or spearman etc
