Explanation / Answer
Social change is change in the way the society functions in a given time period, it the shifts in the social institutions, order, relations, so on and so forth.
Social does not affect me in my day to day life, but I do often think about the changes that it does bring about and the boons and vanes that it poses along with it. By having knowledge and awareness about social change it can affect one's life quite extensively with respect to the way that the given individual functions in their society.
Social change in United States can be seen ever since the mechanization and industrialization of mass production, the growth of the country has been burgeoning it terms of its economy, but it has also impacted its social relations and has had a shift towards the concept of growthism and prodcutivism.
The ah the things have been fucntining in the US, esepciialy after the advent of Donald Trump, it seems to be the case that America has witnessed its last mature presidential candidate (Obama) and is veering towards a generation of irrational petulant no good doers. The culture has thus changes and become less tolerant pertsiint to many social institutions and nationalities.
Technology has made the behavior more profit oriented, and I can see that it turns more so towards the same angle.
The internet has become a metling point for sociologist to study the social trends and cultures as people from across the globe and beginning to be more vocal and open about what they think and feel which can help chat out a curve.
