Explanation / Answer

Renaissance literally means re-birth,which suggest the essence of this period and its influences on art, social structure , social mobility and economic driven module. There was an immense focus on individualization of a man, and secularization of the society as a whole. Leonardo is known as the 'Renaissance Man', whose work was influenced by human anatomy, nature, music etc. He viewed a painter as a vessel through which the immovable art structures expressed and celebrated emotions. Leonardo believed that the way a painter colours the perception of the world, handling the hues of its space and shade, visualising the lights of modernity of the social structures and narrating his idea of 'what is universe and it's relationship with its subsets', represented the power of the art and voice of a painter. Through art, a painter can harmoniously communicate the essence of the universe. One of the famous Renaissance's work is Michelangelo's work of Sistine Chapel Ceiling. The painting of figures of prophets around the ceiling , reflects how classical and modernity ideas came to life , through the imagination of a painter. His painting depicts an internal chaos of human psyche .His paintings represents the complexity of human mind, swayed by the dilemma of right and wrong doings of life. Leonardo's belief that emotions are celebrated and communicated by a painter couldn't be more accurate, when one analyses the paintaing on the ceilings. The art does speak of, about, through and to the world, about the universe as a whole, and the natures in its finest details (all through the narratives and gaze of an artist).
