QUESTION 10
What is the name for a bundle of muscle fibers (cells)?
Explanation / Answer
1. The name of the outermost connective tissue covering a whole skeletal muscle belly is epimysium.(the epimysium encircles all the fascicles to form a complete muscle)
2. Blood is considered a connective tissue(fluid connective tissue)for two main reasons they are embryologically it has same origin as that of other connective tissue types, and blood connects the body systems together bringing the oxygen, nutrients, hormones and other molecules and removing the wastes. Lymph is a clear fluid that is similar to plasma but contains less protein.
3. Fibrous connective tissue that usually connects muscle to bone
4. Smooth muscle is found in the walls of blood vessels(vascular smooth muscle refers to the particular smooth muscle found within and composing the majority of the wall of blood vessels).
Smooth muscle ,three layers in the stomach and two layers in the small and large intestine(the outermost layer of the stomach surrounding the muscularis layer is serosa ).
5.Five layers are present in the epidermis of skin they are-
(a) stratum corneum
(b) stratum lucidum
(c) stratum granulosum
(d) stratum spinosum
(e) stratum basale

8. Hyaline cartilage.
9. There are three types of cartilage found in the human body. Elastic cartilage is the most flexible, which means it contains the most chondrocytes. This is the type of cartilage found in ear.
