I am doing a project on my future business plan, the business idea is a small lodging establishment which offers overnight accommodation and breakfast, yea some what similar to Airbnb but the whole idea is to give customers a memorable experience during their stay where they could interact with other guests during the morning breakfast time and socialize and have a little play area for kids (It's somewhere between a motel and a resort). For such a business how should one move forward in regards to Marketing Plans and Strategies (Marketing Mix)?

The marketing plan should be effective in order to make a business venture successful and while promoting such a venture which provides lodging accommodation for a night and breakfast the target audience needs to be identified and the marketing strategy should be as such that it reaches the target audience and attracts them to have this experience at least for once. I believe that Social Media platform like Facebook and twitter can be one of the best options because today the world has a inclination towards the virtual world and if virtually if the organization is made popular then footfall is inevitable and the venture may achieve success depending upon the response the visitors provide. Individuals today rely a lot on reviews and feedbacks from individuals who have visited the venture and therefore customer service needs to be of high quality or else the feedback will be negative and individuals may not prefer the business. Other promotional initiatives can be adopted like promoting the idea or at least making the mass aware by spreading the word with the help of popular places like shopping destinations, popular restaurants and departmental store because initially people need to know that such a venture exists. Once the venture is popular footfall will increase if the quality of the facilities are high.
