Mechanoreceptors (Merkel's disk and Meissner's corpuscles) are responsible for such kind of sensation.

These are present on top layer of dermis and epidermis.

Mostly present on the non- hairy skin like our palm, eyelids, face, fingertips and tongue and lips.

So, when you perceive sense of light, it was mechanoreceptors who receives this sense.

Merkel's disk and Meissner's Corpuscles perceive sense of touching and how long the object is in touch with skin.

Merkel's are slow adapting in respect of receiving perception of touch while Meissner's corpuscles are fast adapting receptor.
