Explanation / Answer

The research article has studied about the firm collaboration and firm export performance for a uniform sample of Small Spanish wine firms. This study shows that the Spanish industry has a dynamic behavior in spite of the small size of the majority of wine firms,the exports have more than doubled in last decades and the number of exporters have increased a lot (almost three times). The paper has shown that the small and medium enterprises, though faced a scarcity of financial, human and technical resources have developed an intense process of intrnalization. This could be possible due to the collaborations with other firms. The inter firm co-operation have helped small firms to access foreign markets. It is reasonable to stress on export support programmes fro small and medium sized firms.
