Explanation / Answer

Ans-

AIDS is caused by human immuno virus , it is lentivirus. When is it infect to human being then immune system of human being is became deficient , so opportunistic infection may lead disease or death.

Mechanism of infection-

Human immuno virus land itself on WBC cell surface , enter into WBC cell reach to nucleus and where replicate many new viral RNA which is then integrated to original DNA molecules. Most common WBC cell is CD-4 cell , it also infect other WBC monocyte , macrophage or microglial cell of the central nervous system. After the replication of the viral RNA cell brust release viral RNA then infect other wbc cell present in our body.

That's how immune system of the body is completely damaged and opportunistic infection lead to disease and death.
