Since your friend has a perfectly healthy body, it seems that we might be able to save at least one of you, by putting your brain into your friend's body. The doctor in charge said that we can do this by removing the upper 30% of your brain (the damaged part) and grafting on to the lower part of your friend's brain. This way we do not have to attach the whole brain to the spine, and we do not have to worry about matching the hormones of the two people involved. You see, your friend is the opposite sex as you. So, if you are female, the top part of your brain is now attached to the bottom part of a man's brain, which is sitting in a male body. If you are male, the situation is reversed Thus, all portions of the brain responsible for producing hormones, (testosterone for the male body; estrogen for the female), have remained intact. The only part of the brain that was replaced was the portion responsible for consciousness thought, memory, and, a sense of self. Part one- The problem states that while an accident of a person, he or she has been severely injured, there are no chances of the person's survival, except for the forebrain. He or she was accompanied by another person of the opposite sex, who was so shocked by seeing this incident had a brain stroke. Naturally, other parts of this person's body eas perfectly okay. When the bodies were taken to Hospital, the Doctors told they could save the accompanying person, if the injured portion of the brain is replaced by brain of the dying person.
Part two- The doctors had found that only the upper 30% of the brain has been injured in the accompanying person and replaces this with the brain of the dying person. After the operation is successfully over, there is question regarding who is surviving.
Part three- Since, the uppermost of the brain is responsible for the thinking capability of humans. This region is what puts humans at the highest level in the animal chain, as the other two parts i.e. midbrain and hindbrain are similar in humans and other animals The pituitary gland is placed lower at the base of the brain Since, only 30% is replaced, it appears that the pineal gland is also in a little lower position. So, the hormones will be regulated as it was before, and there will be no problem whether the person was a male or female. However, the thinking, reasoning abilty of the person could have changed because of this change in forebrain. This change could change his/her personality.
Part four- Scientifically, thinking it could be concluded that the accompanying person has survived with a changed personality and behaviour since most of the body parts are those which were before. If we think it a little oither way this person could have many behavioural patterns as the person who have died in the accident.
