In a sarcomere, the striated muscle tissue holds all the myosin fibres in place. The sarcoplasmic reticulum is the area where only myosin fibres exists, whereas the microfilaments is the area where only actin fibres exists. Entire sarcomere runs from Z disc to next Z disc ( its incluiding Z line, I band, A band, H zone and M line)  when cotntraction occurs the H-line and I-Band decrease the M-line increase.
