1.a.more abundant.
Connective tissue is most abundant and diverse tissues in body when compared to epithelial tissue and is derived from mesoderm.
2.Mesenchyme.
It helps in secretion of ground substances, fibers, proliferation and differentiation into many different connective tissue cell types, smooth miscle cells, blood cells etc.
3.During early stages of development the embryo form 3 distinct layers- outer ectoderm, middle mesoderm and inner endoderm. The cells of mesoderm have mesenchymal stem cells that can differentiate into many different cell types. They give rise to osteoblasts which forms bones, chondrocytes which form cartilage, fibrocytes which form connective tissue proper and adipocytes which form fat cells.
4.* A fluid connective tissue called blood provides a transport system in the body for oxygen and other important substances.
* Bones supports and protects soft tissues and organs in body.
* Cartilage provides strong support and connection for skeletal framework.
5. Formation of cartilage or chondrogenesis is a dynamic cellular process which involves mesenchymal cell recruitment and migration, there by it leads to condensation of progenitor cells and differentiation which leads to formation of various cartilages like hyaline, fibrous and elastic. It also consists of head region and appendix region.
