From above choices, I selected grocery store because, if I have opportunity to start a business, my first choice is departmental store or grocery store. This is small business and we can operate more effectively with available resources. To start this business I should learn about few things related to this business like how to attract the customers, how to select suitable candidates who can really useful to improve sales, how to utilize my limited capital, how to procure products based on customer requirements. To do this business, I should draw proper planning which includes detail information regarding location of my store and people who can correctly manage and track inventory.
Planned operation:
Here I select a location which is commercial area, traffic is low and there is no competitors around my store, I will choose this type of location so that, people are showing interest to buy products from my store. In the market competition is very common but in this business we should maintain some distance with other stores, it will useful to both stores. After selection of location, I will concentrate on facilities, to attract the customers, I should provide them some facilities like parking place, some equipments like freezers, slicers, wait measurement machine, display cases, swiping machine etc…
Nature of products in my store products which are stored in bottles, boxes, covers like rice, chocolates ,wheat ,sugar ,soaps ,shampoos, biscuits, etc… apart from these products, I want sell other products like milk ,vegetables also.
To run this business, I required 10 to 12 members to maintain and run my business, who have related skills to my business.

Job roles are engaging customers and helping them to purchase products, suggest them if required. Try to explain them about products and their features and motivate them to buy products.
To recruit my staff, I follow some approaches like New paper and pamphlets. From these channels I collect the resumes and based on that resumes, I will conduct interviews and finally I select the sufficient people.
To train my people, I will consult some marketing expert and give them some lecture which can motivate them and explain them how to attract the customers and how to handle the customers.
I will set some target to my staff, based on that target; I will go to analyze their performance.
Person who reach that target, I will give them best incentives and promotions also.
To work in an organization, environment is very important, I will try to create healthy work environment by motivate them to respect each other, try to help each other in the work.
