Explanation / Answer

The three domains in which individuals with autism have problems in are : communication, social development and repetitive behaviours. On the social front, people having autism will be having problems on thesocietal front, as they display unusual social developments which are apparent since the childhood. These people display lesser eye contact with society or even their closed ones and have lesser empathy for even family members. Children are known to copy others and imitate actions. The aspect of friendship plays an important role as it is not important how many friends they have, but what kind of friends they have. Communication is also hampered, as they have not yet developed the speech that is required for daily functioning. They may show diminished responses, and may display vocal patterns that aren’t in sync with the caregiver. They take time for development of vocabulary and may also have trouble in tasks that include spelling and vocabulary. One of the most common behaviours that individuals with autistic behaviours display are repetitive movements such as body rocking or head rolling or compulsive behaviours, and are mostly resistant to change.
