LMX (in-group)-------------middle ground ---------------SX (out-group)
continuum and why? Does their relationship have the features of in-group membership (mutual trust, reciprocal support, liking, and greater interaction)? Or out-group membership (role-defined and contractually based)? Support your answer using section 10.3 of the text.
Part Two: What would you suggest in terms of maintenance communication for the student? Talk about which tactics could be used.
Part Three: Finally, comment on the format of the student's blog in terms of what they are doing well and what could be improved.
Explanation / Answer
part one: IT definitely looks like a middle ground for Amy and this person because of the mutual trust and friendship they share. The level of integirty and commitment to carry out day to day activities with mutual cooperation and sincerity. Also we see that their mutual admiration between both the people so its a LMX in group.
part two: Maintainenece communication for the student seems absolute as Ami's word is her positive trait of binding with others through an open communication as she speaks the truth and practices honesty and listens to the other person's view point as well and involves them in communication.
part three: The student blog is very thought after well written forum where they have the opportunity to highlight their relationship with Amy and the positive dynamics of their relationship. THey have focused only on the positive traits and it would absolutely ok if they highlight or include even anything unsatisfactory in this blog so that those areas can be touched upon and improvised.
