Explanation / Answer

Conforming one's behavior to match the behavior of people around to avoid criticism and for social acceptance makes a person to go with crowd even if the person knows it's a wrong way, it overpowers the persons creativity and the will to do the right thing. Charity is using the normative influence to raise their funds by disclosing the average fund to the potential donor ,this creates the urge for conforming to that value of donation in the donor to gain acceptance and avoid the criticism. Police and military are trained to obey or carry out their leaders without any thought of their own or in other words blindly obey the orders as the part of their duty, hence, police and military personnels obey the orders of authoritive figure more blindly than the ordinary people. Gender is teaching of rules and regulations assigned separately for male and female to play their respective role.Females are taught to be submissive to male and are expected to be obedient under males, hence, females tend to be more obedient and conforming than their male counterparts.
