Large Scale Industry:
Firms which employ a huge number of employees in each production unit. Production process in each such department are extensive and requires a large number of laborers. E.g. Cotton or jute textile industries.

Production process or technique
Batch Process:
As name suggest, this deals with processing of bulk material in small batches through each step of the desired process. Processing of subsequent batches must wait until the ongoing batch is processed or finished.
Continuous flow
As name suggest, it involves continuous flow of materials. All the processing equipment work in tandem and are inter-dependent. Any disruption or delay in any of such equipment will stop and delay the entire process E.g. Steel Melting Shop.
