In the world of perception. It has been seeing people perceive things differently . The interpretation can vary from person to person. In visual perception there are many functions both biological and environmental that plays vital role in determining difference in interpretation. At a whole we can say our belief system can influence the perpetual system. In the picture we can see a group of people are having gathering. It might seems simple to interpret as I can see a woman inside a room talking to her friends or family with a window above her head. Now according scientist the East African group found the woman balancing a can while sitting under the tree with a group of people. And on the other hand the Westerners found the box shaped thing as an architectural structure like window above the woman's head. The change of perception can be concluded as the difference of history and culture, difference and experience and social structure. We know that most of the East African countries are least developed nation. They are connected to nature and daily life struggle. There is a pattern of lifestyle among east African to carry weight on their head whether fetching water food or daily needs. Most of them conduct group gathering under a tree just like any rural culture have. The Westerners are living in more developed and facilitated environment. Their lifestyle and cultural experience have less physical struggles. Most of them live in well-developed urban societies and well structured house. Hence, thier perception regarding the societies will be more into urban setup as they have interpreted in the picture. So, over all we can visual perceptions is influenced by social, cultural and environmental factors.
