Question
2. We are subjected to a wide variety of situations and stimuli that are designed to influence our attitudes or behavior. The most obvious of these are advertisements, but we regularly encounter many other more subtle sources of attempted influence. These attempts to influence us all use techniques of persuasion. Imagine that you are hired by a company, and management wants you to write a brief summary of the factors that are most powerful in changing people's attitudes or behaviors. What would you put in your report?
Explanation / Answer
Quality of the product is the most important thing that affects attitude and behaviours of people. The positive evaluation of a product or service is also influenced by the evaluation of others particular the famous people. For example, if an individual follows or likes the attitude and behaviour of the other individual, he/she is more likely to agree with the other's opinion, that's why choosing famous people is a successful strategy in promoting a product. Economy is the other factor that influences attitude, the cost of the product must be determined by considering the group of individuals that it targets. Family, society and political factors also influence behaviour and attitude, so all these factors must be considered
