1. According to Goodin, the best scope of paternalism woud be to take life-death or high-stake decisions. This is because the people will not get any chance to benefit by learning from their mistakes.
2. According to Goodin, the public officials should refrain from paternalistsic interference on only one condition i.e when they are fully convinced that someone is acting on preferences that are relevant.
3. There are some forms of control and interference that can be morally justified on paternalistic grounds.
