Taking, this as an inspiration, there has been a small contribution that me and my friends had made to the society. In today's world, cleanliness and sanitation is one of the major basics of healthy living. Since, a very long time, the area near our dorm had one of the streets in which garbage would never be dumped in the waste bins, but rather in its complete vicinity. This was leading to a row of mosquitoes and flies and was making it impossible to walk past that street. We tried to complain to the nearby building to get it cleaned, as most of the dump came from their part, but our complains went unheard. Frustrated and raged one day, we took the initiative and posted the picture on one of the social media sites, along with our entire complaint as well as tagging the managerial area. This led to constant follow ups by them, and within 24 hours of the act, our complaints were heard. Not one of the major acts, but just a small act showing that smaller actions, lead to bigger consequences. If every street or society starts taking care of their part of cleanliness, the entire city gets cleaned.
