Explanation / Answer
Discuss two methods you might use to remember the 10 items?
One of the methods is making a link between all these items . This is called the link method, where I would link every item with one another. Another method is the assigning of numbers to every item in the list. If I assign numbers to every item in the list, as soon as I feel that I would one of the number items were missing, it would strike me. This is called the peg system.
Discuss ways that you might use these same techniques to help prepare for an exam.?
Also while preparing for an exam, I use the same techniques. Remembering things or points with association, that diesnt leave me only in the name of by hearting. I can learn things with association. Second, remembering points is easier than remembering the entire paragraph. Hence, I memorising the points, I can remember things in order without skipping the items.
Are there techniques that would not work as well for studying?
There are certain techniques that might not work with studying. For example the loci method, in which we associate things with place or locus. Hence, this cannot be used with studying, as each and every thing cannot be associated with places.
