The Scientific research helps us to undertand how living things work and apply that understanding for the benefit of both humans and animals. Many of the vial functions and humans ara common like breathing, digestion, movement, sight, hearing and reproduction. To treat the diseases, the doctor scientist must understand how the healthy body works, then, in turn leads to an understanding of what happen to the body when we fall ill and how this can be put right.

In order to conduct any research either on animals or humans, there is a guidelines.

Guidelines on research on animals.

1, The research must be conducted by a trained researcher.

2. Make reasonable efforts to minimize the discomfort, infection and pain to animal subject.

3, Use a procedure subjecting animals to pain stress, when an alternative procedure is unavailable.

4. Perform surgical procedure under anesthesia and avoid the further complication.

5. Proceed rapidly when it is appropriate that an animal's life be terminated with an effort to minimize pain and in accordance with accepted proceedure.

Guidelines for research on Humans.

1. Researcher must be a qualified and trained personal.

2. Research participants must voluntrily consent.

3. Dangerous or risky research must be based on sound theory and prior animal testing.

4. Research must avoid unnecessary physical and mental sufferings.

5. A research project cannot go forward if serious injury or death are potential out come.

6. Participants are allowed to discontinue at any time.

Over view, Humans are given lot of privileges over animals. Research has ensured the safety, welfare and dignity of human participants and treat them equally fairly and not as a means of end. Humans can terminate the research where as animals are not having that right.
