Dear Dr. Painter,
I am a second year student at the Happy Smile Dental Career Insititute and pursuing the Dental Assisting Program. I am writing you this letter in the hope that you will hire me as your next intern as I believe that I will be able to do justice to the position that you offer to me.
My goal is to become a Certified Dental Assistant and in order to do that I need to possess some practical experience being in the final year of the course. The requirement of the course is that I have to have 120 hours of practical experience with an existing dental practice. My institution has instructed me to find a dentist who will allow me to get this exposure within the next few weeks. As I was prepapring a list whom to contact, my father suggested your name and mentioned that you are the best choice in this area and there is a lot to learn from you as you are and expert in the field.
My Father is also a dentist but he has retired few years back and he is my first teacher and we also share the same interest to help people. Thanks to my father's guidance and help that I have been doing very well in my course and my freinds also come to me for help. My father educated me the requirements that an assistant should possess and I am working hard in order to achieve those skills.
