I would adopt collaborating style as it is a win win for both party involved .
In a consultant company there are issue due to different viewpoint on a particular issue. If that issue develops into conflict , it can be beat resolved through mutual cooperation and understanding of each other's viewpoint that can be provided by collaboration model.
In collaboration goals of both party are respected and none has to be compromised. In this style a novel solution can be easily reached by cooperation of both.

a) Assimilation strategy is usually used in cases of merger to assimilate different kind of people and processes from two different cultured organisations.
b) culture of organisation includes all those elements that are valued and shared. I would suggest following elements.
Values. It tells goals and philosophy of organisation. It makes people better directed.
Communication both formal and informal channels are important to relay official as well social messages. This creates a proper inter linkage among all the employee.
Norms - Standard operating procedures should be made clear and objective. It helps one to measure his goals and paths at regular interval.
Role model Through them company's highest goal and commitments are modelled .
