Allah is the creator of human and universe, Allah is almighty, there is no God beside Allah. There are 99 names of Allah, each name describes Allah .For an example one of the name of Allah is Akbar means great.
Who is considered to be a Muslim? Please characterize important groups and their role in community.
A Muslim is that person who follows Allah, the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and one who believes in Prophet Muhammad and his Sunnahs. There is number of groups (sects) in Muslims, like Sunni, Shia, and other. But Sunni’s are 80 per cent in the world. And the only difference between the sects is conflicting religious beliefs.
Who was Mohammed? Please give a brief introduction to his life and significance.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born in Mecca in Saudi Arabia in 570. And Prophet Muhammad is the founder of Islam. He was a deeply spiritual man and often spent time in meditation on Mount Hira. He is the base of Islam, and all the Muslims in the world believes in him because he showed them the right path which leads towards Allah. He has a very important role in the formation of the universe, it is said that the universe was made for him only. God had chosen him as his messenger Muhammad began to preach what God had revealed to him. The simple and clear-cut message of Islam, that there is no God but Allah, and that life should be lived in complete submission to the will of Allah, was attractive to many people, and they flocked to hear it.
Describe the five pillars of Islam.
These pillars are the declaration of faith, praying five times a day, giving money to charity, fasting and a pilgrimage to Mecca (at least once).
Explain the importance of the Qu'ran/Koran? What is the Language of the Qu'ran/Koran?
Quran is a holy book of Muslims, and it has all the answer which a human can seek. The book was originally written In Arabic language but later it was translated in many languages. Quran is a words of Allah.
