As a vice president of human resource, i will terminate three employees namely, Alicia Chin, Ali Smith and Martha Johnson. Alicia Chin is not a team player. She stays quiet, withdrawn and unsocial. She avoids company's social events and stays absent from work.  Ali Smith stays away from desk and work, so he is not a dedicated employee. He takes breaks from his work for prayer and meditation. He has achieved no honours and awards from the company. His job duty is to maintain existing computer systems, which will be obsolete, after the reduction in work force. Even though Martha Johnson is smart and talented, she is not a team player. She has missed two months work in the last 12 months.

Paul Pierce will be retained for many reasons. Pierce has average productivity and was the one who was responsible for quality programming, which took place in the program being abandoned. Being in the Navy has given him practical experience, that goes beyond the abandoned programs. Susan Reed is a team player, who is friendly and always willing to help others. She did a great job as an administrative assistant of the failed program. She also has an experience of 25 years with the company. Terminating Susan will cause immediate financial hardship to her. So, i will not terminate Susan Reed.
