Basically Annette here uses 3 concepts to study varying childhood in three social class the middle class , the working class and the poor household and she tried studying how the respective children were brought up in respective families based on their social status and financial status and checked how it affected the children and their lives and how was the involvement of parents from each home and what was the parents behaviour towards the children.

This is very important because it helps understand children and their behaviour and attitudes towards life because they would have been trained according to their social class and would also be provided provisions accordingly for instance a middle class child in childhood would be taught to talk a certain way and also think a certain way and would mostly find everything that is possibly the best because they usually intend on becoming sometime (profession) in life and always dream of living a sound life where as a child from the poor household atleast here in the place i live doesnot receive proper education and is sometimes aimless and also is not taught much manners and would go work somewhere and not even receive basic education like that our childhood also has a impact on our conduct and reflect I'm the people we become one day and this kind of study is sometime that I personally believe is very important to know and understand and take measures.
