Reconstructing Author's argument

According to Don Marquis , it is an immoral act to kill the lives of innocent babies who do no harm.The author here , argues about the ethics and is seriously harming the future of the child . It is very much similar to that of killing an adult .

He is setting an example by letting the people imagine about what would be the child be capable , if he/ she would have been alive. A president? A movie star? A CEO of a company?

He also brings into the light the arguments of the antiabortionists and pro choicers .

The antiabortionists argue that :

a) Foetuses are rational beings and they have their life from the day they come into this world . They carry a genetic code , which is very much essential for the existence of human beings.

Whereas the pro choicers argue that ,

a) Foertuses are not the rational beings as they lack the mental ability to judge anything .

Killing the person is like murderingand depriving them from their dreams , goals , happiness , pleasure , experiences , acheivements etc .

According to the author , abortion is not always immoral . iIt is so because , when a person suffers from a pain for many days , and days for surviving is short .It is okay , if the person dies. But killing a person deliberately is something which is not desrirable .

Premise 1 : The author thinks , it is very much wrong to be get killed. It is immoral in nature. Delibaretly killing someone is something not desirable . He vehemently protested against it.

2. Conclusion

The author is against the abortion . He supposes the act of aborting a child is immoral . It should not be supported. People who do not value someone's life , does not mean that it is not valuable or precious . The life of a child who is growing inside the womb in a healthy way should not be killed . It is like killing a life .
