Explanation / Answer
1) Anatomy and physiology are considered as basic for a better medical career Anatomy is the study of external and internal structures of the body , whereas physiology is the study of how these structures function . Increased knowledge of these subjects will have a clear picture of the body structure and how it functions .
2) a thorough knowledge of these subjects will improve critical thinking about patient scenarios. It is because when a patient comes to a doctor with a disease , to diagnose that disease doctor should first know what is the normal physiology of the body then only he will understand pathology of the disease . Without knowing what is normal in the body we cannot understand the pathology . once the pathology of the disease is known then it will become easier for a doctor to treat the patient.
3) Yes , critical thinking is very important in medical career . As there are a large number of diseases related humans ,one should know how to rule out diseases and come to one diagnosis .
