Explanation / Answer

I work for a game designing company and it makes use of a large amount of data which allows the company to be able to position itself better in the market. It is both predictive data for analysis and reporting data about the current product we have in the market. The data answers questions like the customer interaction with the product. Market trend, shift in purchase quantity, area of preference etc. And, reporting data like sales, reception and Co. Plants that the people have. Strategic business decisions in the company are made of the macro data that is collected which drives the market. This drives the market and includes factors like demand and supply while at my level the decisions are based on the predictive data and the micro-processes which allow the company to steer the direction from one are to another based upon changes in the environment that the company belongs to. The last game title was produced without proper analysis of the competition and resulted in direct competition from. Another company which had released a similar product. This could have been saved if the market was studied before executing the product development.
