1. Why might a person working for a corporation prefer to be an employee instead of an independent contractor?

3. Should employers always be liable for their employees acts? Why or why not, and what limitations, if any, would you impose on that liability?
4. Is a franchise worth the cost and restrictions? Why would anyone want to pay for and abide by a franchise agreement?

Since, an employee is working under the supervision of any superior of the company, works as per company related procedures and policies and resources, Employer is liable for any acts of any employee. It is the responsibility of any company to make sure employee does not do any wrong acts/ process. If anything goes wrong, necessary corrective actions are supposed to be taken by the company, along with that employee. Issues may happen due to over strictness from the employers, over stress, limited resources like money/ budget, time/ manpower/ restricted operational policies, technology failure, human error
4. Yes, franchise is worth the cost and restrictions, as it allows one to:
Anyone can pay for a franchise as a royalty fees or membership fees to ensure person will work as per the company policies, however is free to make decisions- how much to invest, where to work, what to sell, how much to sell, whom to sell and whom not to sell. It’s independence for those who want to grow in life and make own name and market reputation. Hence, it’s all worth of cost and time.
