PROCEDURE: A colonoscopy was performed to the cecum. The scope was advanced to the cecum under direct vision without any difficulty.

FINDINGS: The cecum, ascending, transverse, descending, and sigmoid colon was normal. In the descending colon, there was a 2-mm polyp that was biopsied and submitted for histology.

ASSESSMENT: Diminutive colon polyps.

Pathology Report later indicated benign polyps.
