8. Intertrochanteric Line - a ridge between Greater trochanter and lesser trochanter of femur at proximal anterior end. It gives attachment to vastus medialis, iileofemoral ligament. (Intertrochanteric crest is simmlar ridge on prosterior and proximal end of femur).
