Iam a protein . I just made entry into the endoplasmic reticulum.here iam being packed into coated vesicles for my transportation into Golgi apparatus.i was completely packed and was ready to be transported. I displayed exit signal on my surface which was recognised by my complementary receptor .now I was transported out of the ER exit . Here the vesicles which had packed me got shedded and the membranes of all the vesicles bound together to form a transport package . This transport package helped my entry into the Golgi apparatus.this apparatus had flattened ,membrane enclosed cisternae which resembled stalks of pan cakes.i underwent series of modifications inside the CIS portion of apparatus and then I was taken to the trans portion where my glycosylation got completed . And I was ready to be transported into the next site ,the lysosome. Here I experienced unique collection of enzymes and a unique surrounding membrane and it was my target cell. I am told to do certain functions here. Thus my journey ended here.
