During exercise, the amount of glucose utilised by the body increases. Glucose undergoes aerobic metabolism and yields ATP(energy) by using oxygen and releasing CO2.

As a result, during exercise, increased amounts of oxygen is utilised and increased amount of CO2 is exhaled.

Increased respiratory rate during exercise aids in this process.

Proper functioning of pyloric sphincter is essential for the contents of the stomach to pass into the duodenum.

If it does not allow the stomach contents to be emptied regularly, it may give rise to the following symptoms:

Vomiting- due to increased pressure in stomach due to inability to empty its contents.

Water and electrolyte imbalance

Constipation

Hunger.
