Explanation / Answer

*  SUPRASPINATUS : It is a small muscle as compared to other muscles of the upper back. It connects the greater tubercle of the humerus to the superior portion of the scapula. It helps to rotate the arm and abducts [ movement of ball and socket joint] the arm by stabilising the humerus.

* INFRASPINATUS : It is thick and triangular in shape. It is larger than the supraspinatus and is also one of the four muscles of the rotator cuff. Its main function is to externally rotate the arm and give stability to the humerus .

* TERESMINOR : This is also one of the muscles of the rotator cuff. It originates from the lateral border of the shoulder blade [scapula] and attaches to the inferior facet of the greater tubercle of the humerus. It helps to rotate the arm laterally and stabilise and support the humerus.

* SUBSCAPULARIS : This muscle helps to rotate the head of the humerus medially i.e. it helps in internal rotation and adduction of the humerus. So, when the arm is raised , it draws the humerus forward and downward. It keeps the head of the humerus in place and prevent its dislocation.

JOINT MOVEMENT--

* Biceps bronchi -- helps in the movement of the shoulder and elbow joints .

* Brachialis -- This is a muscle in the upper joint that helps to flex the elbow joint , up and down.

* Brachioradialis -- This is a strong elbow flexor muscle and helps in the supination and pronation of the radio-ulnar joint of the lower arm bones.

BIARTICULAR MUSCLE--

Those muscles which help in the movement of two joints at the same time are called biarticular.

Of the given list, the biceps bronchi is a biarticular muscle because it supports the movement of the elbow and the shoulder joint.
