Answer: Each kidney receives blood via Renal Artery which branches from Abdominal Aorta. Renal A. branches --> 3 or 4 segmental A.-->several interlobar Arteries that run along the renal pyramids to renal cortex.-->these further branch to form smaller and smaller renal arterioles. In the renal cortex, afferent glomerular arterioles from these smaller arteries carries blood to the glomerulus. and blood leaves the glomerulus through efferent arteriole. the efferent arteriol usually leads to peritubular cappillaries, which surround the cortical portion of renal tubule. thus the collecting ducts receive oxygen and nutrients from these capillaries, Also the collecting ducts reabsorb water and nutrients from the blood before urine is formed,

Answer:-Female patient suffer from urinary tract infection more often than male because
a)of the relatively short length of their urethra as compared to male . Female urethra is about 4 cm and male is 20 cms. this causes the bacterial infection to invade the urinary bladder more easily in females than in males.
b) Female urethra is very near to vaginal opening. Hence any infection from it can also easily go into urethra.
c) Female urethra is also very near to anal opening , which is an harbour of many bacterias in the feaces. bacterias from it can also go into the urethra causing infection.
d)the female urethra is short and straight whereas male urethra is curvy and long . hence chances of infection is more common in females.
