USE ONLY Number of Set number|Resistance (bs) 2 3 4 5 60 80 100 120 140 Repetitions 12 12 10 10 Describe the pattern of motor unit recruitment to the active muscles from the first to the fifth set of the exercise bout. In this description, be sure to include details on the number and the type of muscle fibers recruited during the successive sets 1.Explanation / Answer
As the person is increasing weight so its pretty obvious that he will require more strength to lift that weight in other words he will require more contraction of muscle fibre or contraction of more muscle fibre.muscle recruitment is activation of more muscle unit when increased contraction is required.a motor unit is the all the muscle fibre supplied by a nerve and including that nerve.when more strength is required more nerves are activated and the muscle fibre supplied by that nerve also get activated thus muscle.recruitement occur.
When initially weight is being increased without decreasing repetations at that time the slow twicht muscle fibres are activated when repeations are getting decreased with increasing weights then the long twitch fibres come.into play
