Explanation / Answer
In this competitive environment, it is very important to captivate our customer for prolonged relationship. If we choose to proceed with more analysis, there are high chances that our competitors might accept the same proposition and pull the customer away from us. Thus, if we have the investment capability to bear expenses of small failures then we should proceed forward with building the solution and carry out the additional analysis simultaneously hoping a change in sponsor's or implementers' position. This will ensure more interactions with the stakeholders and thus provide us with greater role in the development process. It might be also possible that this interaction could open up ways for future projects and growth prospect. Moreover, if we consider the worst case scenario that there is no change in position of both the stakeholders, there is always a provision of having a conditional delivery of solution. In this conditional delivery, we can clearly state the concern and shift any liability of failure regarding this concern to other stakeholders.
