Explanation:- Skeletal muscles are voluntary muscle attached to bones, cartilage and connective tissue coverings and their function to produce movement, maintain posture, stabilize joints. Skeletal muscle relaxants are a chemical compounds ( drugs) with a ability to relax skeletal muscle during major surgery to prevent spontaneous muscle movements. These chemicals reduces muscle contractility by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses or by decreasing the excitability of the motor end plate.

Chemical A that binds to and blocks Ach receptors of muscle cells would be a good skeletal muscle relaxant because it can block the acetylcholine ( Ach) receptor by binding to it and inhibiting neuron transmission to muscle cells. Thus there would not any stimulation in muscle cells making them relax.

Chemical B that floods the muscle cells cytoplasm with Ca2+ would be not good in this case because it actually would stimulate contractions of the muscle cells for movement.
