Question

So, Im in a very basic Comp Sci class and this is my hw. We've only covered through Loops, no use of Arrays please. Find Average Rainfall Write a program that calculates the average rainfall for 12 months. The program should ask the user for their name and their city and to enter the amount of rain (in inches) that fell each month. Prompt the user to enter 12 real numbers representing amount of rainfall for each month starting with January through December in that order. First number is for January, 2nd for February and so on. There is no need to ask for the name of the month. Use a loop to process the data. Your program should print a report showing the following information: Average Rainfall xx.xx Inches Month with Lowest Rainfall LOWMONTH Rainfall: xx.xx Inches Month with Highest Rainfall HIGHMONTH Rainfall: xx.xx Inches I understand prompting for the 12 months, but I don't get how to set it up to match the 1st as janurary, 2nd as Feburary, etc. and how to display the Min and Max month.

Explanation / Answer

The problem is probably the prompt for name and city, since you haven't done arrays my guess is that strings weren't covered either? Anyway I did it with string variables. You can try to figure that part out, everything else is working as planned. Enjoy!
